Barcelona Front Three Outscore Real Madrid's Attack by 14 Goals

Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez have combined for 26 goals in La Liga and the Champions League, more than doubling Real Madrid's trio.

A month into the season, Barcelona's attacking unit of Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez has produced 26 goals between La Liga and the Champions League. Raphinha accounts for 14 of them, Yamal has eight and Fermin, playing in midfield, has four. The three have also combined for 11 assists.

Real Madrid's front-line group of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham sits far behind on 12 goals. Mbappe has scored eight, Bellingham three and Vinicius just one, the lowest return of the three at the Bernabeu.

The comparison extends beyond Spain. Manchester City's Erling Haaland, Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo have managed 12 goals as a group, matching the total of Bayern Munich's Michael Olise, Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala. PSG's Ousmane Dembele, Ferran Torres and Vitinha have 10 between them.

Raphinha's output follows a role change: after Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres left, he took up a false-nine position and the captaincy. His tally this season includes two hat-tricks and three braces, more goals than 16 of La Liga's 20 clubs, and he currently ranks second in the European Golden Boot standings. Yamal has added eight goals and six assists alongside him.
