Boys Soccer Slate for Week of Sept. 22 Features Full Section 1 Schedule

High school boys soccer teams across the Lower Hudson Valley are set for a busy week of matches running Tuesday through Saturday, including a Hispanic Heritage/Latinx Showcase at Torpy Field.

The high school boys soccer week in the Rockland and Westchester area begins Tuesday, Sept. 22, with a full card of games. Most contests tip off at 4:30 or 5 p.m., including North Rockland at Arlington, Yorktown at Fox Lane, Mamaroneck at Scarsdale and New Rochelle at White Plains. Later starts include Clarkstown South at Lakeland at 6:30 p.m., Pleasantville at Irvington at 6:45 p.m., and Panas at Rye and Nanuet at Hastings, both at 7 p.m.

Wednesday offers a lighter slate, headlined by Yonkers at Saunders at 4 p.m., Greeley at Harrison and Panas at Putnam Valley at 4:30 p.m. Thursday picks back up with more than 20 games, among them Ketcham at Ramapo, Mamaroneck at Ossining, Port Chester at Scarsdale and Yorktown at John Jay-Cross River at 7 p.m.

Friday features Roosevelt at Yonkers at 4 p.m. and Briarcliff at Blind Brook at 7:30 p.m. The Hispanic Heritage/Latinx Showcase at Torpy Field gets underway with Spring Valley against Nyack at 6 p.m.

Saturday is the busiest day of the week, starting with Gorton at Saunders at 9:30 a.m. and running through Ramapo at Peekskill at 8 p.m. The showcase at Torpy Field continues with Brewster vs. Hamilton at noon and Newburgh Free Academy vs. New Rochelle at 4 p.m. Bronxville also hosts a tournament Saturday, with the consolation game at noon and the championship at 2 p.m.
