Brazil claimed its fourth South American U-20 women's futsal championship, beating host Venezuela 3-1 after extra time in Barquisimeto.

Brazil's women's U-20 futsal national team defeated host Venezuela 3-1 in extra time in Barquisimeto to win the South American title for the fourth time. The team completed the tournament with a perfect record: six wins in six matches, 30 goals scored and only three conceded.

Débora opened the scoring in the first half after a Venezuelan defensive slip, but Venezuela equalized before halftime. The score stayed level through the second half and the first extra period until Sabrina scored two minutes into the second extra period, finishing a pass from Carol Thomaz to make it 2-1.

In the closing seconds, Débora set up Amazonas, who scored the third goal and sealed the win. Amazonas finished as the tournament's outright top scorer with eight goals.

After the final whistle, Amazonas credited the squad's collective work for her goal. Head coach Bebel said the team had prepared specifically for the final and stayed focused for the full match.

The title marks Brazil's return to the top of the competition after losing to Colombia in the 2024 edition. Brazil has now won the tournament four times in five editions, taking titles in 2016, 2018, 2022 and 2026.
