Frashad Tisby, a four-star forward at Cross Creek rated no. 99 overall in the Class of 2027, has given his verbal commitment to South Carolina.
The Augusta-area standout selected the Gamecocks ahead of a finalist group that included Arizona State, UAB and Marquette.
Tisby spent much of September traveling to the schools on his list before finalizing his choice. Following an official visit to the South Carolina campus on Sept. 18, he decided Columbia was where he wanted to continue his career.
