Detroit fans will be able to stream Pistons games through DAZN starting next season, alongside free over-the-air broadcasts on Channel 20.
The Detroit Pistons announced Tuesday, Sept. 22 that DAZN will serve as the team's direct-to-consumer streaming partner beginning next season. Subscriptions are available at DAZN.com/Pistons, with monthly plans starting at $19.99. A season pass is priced at $119.99.
The streaming option builds on the Pistons' multi-year deal with Scripps Sports, reached in May, which makes over-the-air television the team's official lead broadcast home starting with the 2026-27 preseason. Games will air free on WYMD-TV (Channel 20), known as The Spot - Detroit 20, in the Detroit market.
Pistons president of business operations Melanie Harris said the DAZN partnership expands how fans can experience broadcasts and connect with the team, and that together with the free Scripps broadcasts it gives viewers across the region more flexibility in how and where they watch.
Higher-tier packages are offered at $139.99 per season or $24.99 per month and include extras such as a one-time 15% discount at Pistons313Shop.com. The shift to a primarily local production and broadcast is the first for the franchise since 2005.
