Dodgers' Skubal Takes in Rams' Monday Night Win Over Giants

The left-hander, on the bereavement list, watched from field level as Los Angeles beat New York 28-6 at SoFi Stadium.

Tarik Skubal, the Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander, was on hand at SoFi Stadium for Monday Night Football, where the Rams defeated the New York Giants 28-6. It was the first Rams game he has attended since the Dodgers acquired him, and he spent time on the field before kickoff wearing a black Rhude T-shirt.

The Rams posted photos from field level on their official X account. Among them was a picture of Skubal with tight end Colby Parkinson.

Skubal came to the Dodgers from the Detroit Tigers on August 2 in a trade that sent three prospects the other way. A two-time American League Cy Young Award winner, he has gone 4-2 with a 2.95 ERA across nine starts for Los Angeles. His latest outing was Saturday against San Francisco, when he gave up four earned runs in five innings of a 10-4 win.

The Dodgers put Skubal on the bereavement list Sunday. He is expected to be away from the club for a couple of days, and MLB rules permit a stay of three to seven days on that list.

Monday's game also featured Matthew Stafford passing for 327 yards and four touchdowns, Davante Adams catching eight passes for 195 yards and two scores, and Aaron Donald playing his first game of 2026 after returning from retirement.
