Five-Star EDGE Jalanie George Sets October 1 Commitment Decision

Wisconsin made the final four for Jalanie George, a top-10 recruit in the 2028 class who will announce his college choice on October 1.

Jalanie George, a five-star edge rusher in the class of 2028, has narrowed his recruitment to four schools and will announce his commitment on October 1, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.

Wisconsin is among the finalists, joined by Auburn, Miami and Washington. George is listed at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds and plays at Desert Edge High School in Goodyear, Arizona.

Rivals rates George as the No. 2 edge rusher and the No. 9 overall player in the 2028 class.

Wisconsin's 2028 recruiting class is still in its early stages, with linebacker Cale Britt and interior offensive lineman Brock Barrows as its only commitments. Both pledged in July.

The Badgers have established a presence at Desert Edge, with 2027 commits Yahzeen Zion and Nathan Jones also coming from the school.
