Bengals sideline reaction to Ja'Marr Chase TD catch revealed on mic'd up video

NFL mic'd up footage shows Joe Burrow, Joe Flacco and Chase himself reacting to a touchdown catch Cincinnati's sideline considered nearly impossible.

Newly released mic'd up footage from the Bengals' Week 2 win over the Houston Texans captured the sideline reaction to Ja'Marr Chase's touchdown grab, which the NFL shared on its social media accounts.

Quarterback Joe Burrow told Chase the catch was unbelievable, while backup Joe Flacco admitted to Burrow that he and others felt the throw was "kind of uncatchable" before Chase hauled it in.

Chase himself explained the play to teammate Tee Higgins, saying he did not expect Burrow to throw the ball and had to slow down and wait for it because he could not see it in flight.

Speaking with reporters after the game, Chase said he was simply fighting for position and adjusting once the ball finally came into view.
