Ex-Bucks center Raduljica criticizes Giannis Antetokounmpo's shooting

Former Milwaukee big man Miroslav Raduljica questioned Giannis Antetokounmpo's outside shooting while crediting his work ethic on a podcast.

Miroslav Raduljica, a former Milwaukee Bucks center, offered a harsh assessment of Giannis Antetokounmpo's game during an appearance on the Ozbiljno Neozbiljni podcast.

Raduljica said he does not consider Antetokounmpo an extraordinary basketball talent, though he acknowledged the two-time MVP has a talent for hard work, which he called even more important.

The 38-year-old, who spent parts of two seasons in Milwaukee during Antetokounmpo's early NBA years, said he finds the superstar's style difficult to watch.

"You just charge at the basket, bulk yourself up like a beast, have incredible physical attributes, and jump over people, but you can't make a three-pointer," Raduljica said.

The criticism touches on a documented weakness in Antetokounmpo's game: his willingness to shoot from long range has declined in recent seasons, and his career three-point percentage has stayed in the low 30s at best, with stretches well below that.

Antetokounmpo has heard similar critiques from teammates and opponents over the years, but his MVP awards, championship and scoring production have not been slowed by the approach.
