Rams Beat Giants 28-6 as Aaron Donald Returns From Two-Year Retirement

Los Angeles picked up its first win of 2026 on Monday night, with Davante Adams posting 195 yards and Matthew Stafford throwing four touchdowns.

The Los Angeles Rams earned their first win of the 2026 season on Monday night, defeating the New York Giants 28-6 at SoFi Stadium. Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart left in the first quarter with an MCL sprain, and Los Angeles controlled most of the game from there.

The biggest story of the night was the return of Aaron Donald. The defensive tackle played his first game for the Rams since coming out of a two-year retirement, appearing on 58 percent of the defensive snaps. He did not record a sack, but his presence lifted a defensive line that also got contributions from Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske.

Davante Adams had his best game as a Ram, catching 8 of 10 targets for 195 yards and two touchdowns while Puka Nacua remains out with an injury. Matthew Stafford threw four touchdown passes, improving on his previous 1-5 record as a Ram in Monday Night Football games.

In the running game, Kyren Williams rushed 12 times for 85 yards and Blake Corum carried 12 times for 79 yards. Both backs fumbled, but only Williams lost his, leading to a Giants field goal.
