The ACC and ESPN have placed the Oct. 3 Notre Dame–UNC game under a six-day hold, with kickoff time and network to be set after Week 4 games finish.
No. 3 Notre Dame is scheduled to visit ACC opponent North Carolina on Oct. 3, but fans will have to wait to learn when and where they can watch. North Carolina announced on social media that the ACC and ESPN have placed the game time and television assignment on a six-day hold.
A decision will come after all games scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26 are completed. The Miami–Clemson matchup on the same date has also been placed under the same six-day hold by the conference and network.
The Fighting Irish hold a commanding edge in the series, with a 21-2 all-time record against the Tar Heels. The most recent meeting came on Sept. 24, 2022, when Notre Dame won 45-32.
