Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford moved into sixth place on the NFL's all-time passing touchdowns list in a win over the New York Giants. Stafford completed 22 of 31 passes for 327 yards and four touchdowns in the game, which gave the Rams their first victory of the season after a difficult opener.
With his fourth touchdown pass of the day, Stafford moved past Philip Rivers on the career list. Stafford now sits at 427 career touchdown passes, two ahead of Rivers at 425, with Brett Favre fifth at 508. Tom Brady leads the all-time list at 649, followed by Drew Brees (571), Peyton Manning (539) and Aaron Rodgers (528).
Stafford threw 282 of his touchdown passes during his 11 seasons with the Detroit Lions. Since joining the Rams in a trade ahead of the 2021 season, he has added 145 more, and he won the Super Bowl with the franchise in 2022.
