Davante Adams Erupts for 195 Yards as Rams Roll Past Giants

The Los Angeles Rams beat the New York Giants 28-7 on Monday night despite playing without wide receiver Puka Nacua. Quarterback Matthew Stafford bounced back from a rough Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, finishing with 327 passing yards and four touchdowns.

Davante Adams carried the receiving load. He opened the scoring late in the first quarter on a 31-yard touchdown catch, then used a double move to break free for a 64-yard reception on the following drive. He added a second touchdown grab in the third quarter and ended the night with eight receptions for 195 yards.

Stafford praised his veteran receiver afterward, calling him an elite player who made contested catches, ran precise routes, and came through in a game where the Rams were shorthanded.

Los Angeles travels to Denver next weekend, where the team hopes to have more of its injured players back in the lineup.
