Patriots' Durden Deletes Posts Mocking Rodgers, Frazier After Win Over Steelers

New England defensive tackle Cory Durden took aim at Aaron Rodgers and Zach Frazier on social media after the Patriots' Week 2 victory, then deleted the posts.

New England Patriots defensive tackle Cory Durden took shots at the Pittsburgh Steelers on social media Monday, one day after the Patriots beat Pittsburgh in Week 2 for their first win of the season. Durden targeted quarterback Aaron Rodgers, writing "Enjoy retirement my dog" with a laughing emoji, and also posted that Steelers center Zach Frazier "just ain't good." Both posts were later deleted, and it is unclear whether Durden removed them on his own or at someone else's urging.

Rodgers had a difficult game against New England, committing two turnovers and being sacked four times. Durden finished the contest with two tackles and disrupted multiple plays from his spot on the interior of the defensive line.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel also drew attention with remarks about the Steelers, though his came in a more measured setting. Speaking Monday on The Greg Hill Show, Vrabel urged perspective on his defense's performance by saying, "I don't think this was one of the best offenses we'll face this year."

Rodgers has previously said he plans to retire after the 2026 season after extended uncertainty over whether he would play this year. The Patriots now travel to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3.
