The longtime rugby defense coach will work with the Red Roses through the WXV Global Series after leaving France's men's team.
Shaun Edwards has been added to the England women's rugby coaching staff, taking a consultancy role that runs through the end of the WXV Global Series.
Edwards departed his post with the France men's team in June. He previously coached Wales men as well, but this marks his first position in the women's game.
Red Roses head coach John Mitchell praised the appointment, calling Edwards's credentials at the top level of the sport exceptional.
