Southwest Florida High School Results: Oasis Girls Golf Wins, IMG Black Tops ECS

Estero boys golf finished sixth in Sebring, Oasis took the girls title by 13 strokes, and three area volleyball matches were decided in straight sets or near.

The Oasis girls golf team captured the Crutchfield/Hawkins Invitational in Sebring on Monday, winning by 13 strokes. Senior Savanna Odjick finished seventh overall with an 87.

On the boys side, Estero placed sixth at the same Sebring event with a team score of 306, ending 11 shots behind champion Lakewood Ranch. Jesus Bethencourt and AJ White each posted a 74 for the Wildcats, tying for 17th place.

In volleyball, ECS fell to IMG Black 3-1 after dropping three tight sets 23-25, 26-24, 28-30, 28-30. Ava Irwin paced the Sentinels with 19 kills and 11 digs, while Gaby Zuleta and Ellie Chapman recorded six blocks apiece. Kinley Van Dam contributed 23 digs and Olivia Holt added 17 digs, 16 assists and four aces.

SFCA swept Everglades City 25-17, 25-5, 25-1... 25-21 behind Ava Becker's 12 kills and 10 aces. Addie Hanson served six aces and Emerson Hart handed out 26 assists for the King's.

First Baptist closed the Monday slate with a 25-15, 25-12, 25-14 sweep of Barron Collier.
