Saleh Praises Ayomanor's Work Ethic After Titans' Week 2 Loss

Tennessee's head coach highlighted the second-year wide receiver's preparation and growth despite a narrow defeat to Philadelphia.

The Tennessee Titans came up short against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, losing 24-20 in Week 2. Despite the result, wide receiver Elic Ayomanor gave the team reason for encouragement with his play.

The second-year receiver, whose strong training camp had drawn attention, showed explosiveness and physicality. He came through with two important catches during the second half, though he was unable to haul in what would have been a difficult touchdown grab earlier in the game.

On Monday, head coach Robert Saleh spoke highly of the young wideout. He said it would be difficult to find another receiver in the league who puts in as much work or trains as diligently, adding that Ayomanor keeps getting better daily.

Saleh also pointed to the receiver's approach and commitment to improving his skills. Ayomanor is becoming one of quarterback Cam Ward's most trusted options in the passing game.
