Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward delivered an improved performance in Week 2, though the team fell 24-20 to the Philadelphia Eagles at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. The second-year passer completed 13 of 20 passes for 183 yards and ran for two touchdowns.

Ward's 65% completion rate was a mark he exceeded in only four games during his 2025 rookie season. He averaged 9.2 yards per pass attempt, which would have been his best single-game figure from last year. His average depth of target rose to 7.1 yards, up from 5.3 in Week 1 against the Jets.

His lone notable mistake came on an end-zone throw intended for Ayomanor, where poor footwork produced an inaccurate pass. Ward atoned with a third-down scramble on a goal-to-go situation, setting up his own touchdown on a fourth-down QB sneak.

Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll scaled back concepts that had troubled Ward in the season opener. The Titans face the New York Giants in Week 3.
