Torino Aim to Extend Che Adams Contract Amid Injury Absence

Torino want to renew Che Adams' deal before it expires in June 2027, with the Scotland forward currently sidelined by an adductor strain.

Torino are working to secure a new contract for striker Che Adams, whose current agreement expires on 30 June 2027, according to Tuttosport via TuttoMercatoWeb. The Serie A club spent the summer considering offers for the Scotland international rather than risk losing him for nothing.

Adams is currently out with a low-grade adductor strain in his left thigh, suffered ahead of the Roma match, and he missed Saturday's 1-1 draw at Bologna. The upcoming international break gives coach Ignazio Abate time to prepare the forward for a possible return against Udinese on 12 October.

The 30-year-old's absence has been notable. Torino have managed five goals in five Serie A matches this season, with Adams accounting for two of them: a late consolation against Milan and the winning goal in the victory over Fiorentina, the club's only win of the campaign so far. The injury also kept him out of Sebastien Pocognoli's first Scotland squad.
