USA TODAY Sports released its latest Super 10 rankings for Alabama high school flag football following Week 4, and the top of the state stayed largely unchanged. Central of Phenix City remains No. 1 at 6-2, followed by undefeated Moody (8-0) at No. 2.
Only two ranked teams lost during the week, Smiths Station and Oak Mountain, and both defeats came against strong opponents. Spain Park (8-0) moved up one spot from fifth to fourth, while Vestavia Hills slipped from fourth to fifth and sits at 8-2.
The rest of the top 10 held its positions: Smiths Station (6-2) third, Boaz (6-2) sixth, Montgomery Catholic (3-1) seventh, Oak Mountain (3-2) eighth, Prattville (9-3) ninth and Brewbaker Tech (7-3) tenth.
Alabama's flag football season has roughly a month of play remaining, with two unbeaten teams still at the top of the rankings.
