Arsenal Send Seven Youngsters to England Youth Squads This Break

Seven Arsenal academy players are set for England youth duty across the u17, u19 and u21 levels during the international break.

Seven Arsenal players will represent England at youth level over the international break, spread across the u17, u19 and u21 squads. An original callup count of eight was reduced when Marli Salmon withdrew from the u18 squad through injury.

At the u21 level, goalkeeper Tommy Setford and forward Ethan Nwaneri are in the squad for two European Championship qualifiers. The u19 group includes Max Dowman and Ife Ibrahim, although there has been talk of Dowman training with England's senior setup after a series of withdrawals from the first-team squad. For now, both remain with the u19s.

The u17 squad features Arsenal summer signings Mylo Bernard and Vincent Joseph, who joined the club over the offseason, along with Charlie Phillips. The u17s open with a friendly against the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday, September 23 at 18:30 BST, then head to Germany for a three-match tournament.

The u19s play four friendlies: against the Republic of Ireland on Friday, September 25 (19:00), Norway on Tuesday, September 29 (15:00), the USA on Friday, October 2 (15:00), and Belgium on Monday, October 5 (12:00). The u21s face Kazakhstan on Friday, September 25 at 19:30, Slovakia on Friday, October 2 at 19:45, and the Republic of Ireland away on Tuesday, October 6 at 18:00, with all three fixtures counting toward u21 Euro qualification.

All kickoff times are listed in BST, and several of the u17 and u19 matches are being played at neutral venues.
