About Matchday Live
High school and pro games on one schedule, with the stories behind them.
What this site is
Matchday Live lists upcoming and live games — high school sports across US states, plus professional and international fixtures — in one schedule, shown in your own timezone. When a broadcast link exists, the game page points you to it.
We do not host video. Streams are published by schools, broadcasters, and channels on third-party platforms such as YouTube, and open there.
Where the schedule comes from
Listings are compiled by our scheduling desk from public schedules and published here as soon as they are confirmed. Kickoff times are stored in UTC and converted to your local time in the browser. If a game has no stream yet, its page says so instead of guessing.
How our stories are written
Stories labelled Original are written by our desk with the help of an AI language model, working only from facts reported by established publishers. Every Original story names the publisher it is based on.
Before a story is published, automated checks reject the draft if:
- more than 1% of its wording overlaps with the source report — we summarise and explain, we do not copy;
- it contains a number (score, stat, date) that does not appear in the source.
Stories that have not been through this process are shown only as a short summary credited to the publisher, and are marked so search engines credit the original source.
Automated writing can still get things wrong. For anything that matters — injuries, results, kickoff changes — the original publisher is the authority.
Independence
Matchday Live is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, team, school, governing body, or broadcaster. Team and competition names are used only to identify the games and stories they refer to.
