United, Spurs, Barca maintain interest in Kane (Football Insider)

While nearly every report points toward a contract extension at Bayern Munich for striker Harry Kane, Manchester United and FC Barcelona have not give up all hope of getting the Englishman just yet:

Harry Kane is happy to stay at Bayern Munich amid continued interest in his services from Man United, sources have told Football Insider. Kane remains a key man for Bayern but is nearing the end of his contract at the Allianz Arena next June.

Talks are underway for a long-term extension that would see him commit to the German champions for another three seasons. The England captain has admitted that several terms are still yet to be agreed, despite confidence that an agreement will eventually be reached.

United are monitoring the situation, but as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Kane’s main priority as it stands is to stay at Bayern He also retains admirers at Tottenham and has been linked to Barcelona in the last few months, but a move next summer is not on the agenda right now.

As with all of these reports, there is nothing to see here just yet. Sure, Kane and his family are not in total agreement on a contract extension yet (the hold-up is whether it will be a two-year or three-year extension), no one is anticipating that Kane will leave Germany.

Until he puts his name on a new deal, though, other clubs will still — at least — throw out some interest in the superstar.
