Cincinnati and Jacksonville, both 2-1, meet Sunday at Paycor Stadium with a 1 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS, and the Bengals will be reshuffled at cornerback.
The Cincinnati Bengals host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at Paycor Stadium in a Week 4 matchup of teams that have both opened the season 2-1. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, and CBS will carry the broadcast.
The two clubs took sharply different routes to those records. Cincinnati had opened 2-0 before a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, while Jacksonville reached the same mark by routing the New England Patriots. Sunday's winner moves to 3-1.
Cincinnati's secondary will have a different look with cornerback Jalen Davis on injured reserve. His absence moves Dax Hill inside, with DJ Ivey or Tacario Davis in line for outside work opposite DJ Turner II. Guard Dalton Risner and safety Brian Cook, meanwhile, carry questionable designations.
Oddsmakers have installed the hosts as narrow favorites. BetMGM lists Cincinnati as a 2.5-point favorite over Jacksonville, with the over/under set at 51.5 points.
Cincinnati's schedule rolls on immediately after Sunday. A Week 5 road trip to the Miami Dolphins is set for Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX, and the Bengals' bye week follows in Week 6.
Play resumes Oct. 25 with a divisional road game against the Baltimore Ravens at 1 p.m. ET on CBS. The Tennessee Titans visit Paycor Stadium on Nov. 1, also a 1 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS. Week 9 then takes the Bengals overseas for a Nov. 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid, Spain, starting at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network, with Cincinnati designated as the visiting team.
Three night games highlight the second half of the schedule, two of them at home. The Pittsburgh Steelers visit Nov. 15 for an 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday night game on NBC, the Bengals travel to the Washington Commanders on Nov. 23 for an 8:15 p.m. Monday night game on ESPN, and the Baltimore Ravens return to Paycor Stadium on Dec. 31 for an 8:15 p.m. ET Thursday night game on Amazon Prime.
Most of the remaining dates fall in the early Sunday window: New Orleans visits Nov. 29 (1 p.m. ET, CBS), Cincinnati plays at Cleveland on Dec. 6 (1 p.m. ET, CBS) and at Carolina on Dec. 20 (1 p.m. ET, FOX), and Kansas City comes to town Dec. 13 for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff on FOX. The Saints game comes six days after the Monday night trip to Washington. From there, the Bengals play at Indianapolis on Dec. 26 or 27 and close the regular season at home against division rival Cleveland on Jan. 9 or 10, with kickoff times and networks for those final two games still to be determined.
Global Sportscast's listings have the Week 4 details: Jacksonville at Cincinnati on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. EDT from Paycor Stadium, on CBS.
