Indiana travels to Michelob Ultra Arena for Thursday's winner-take-all Game 3 against Las Vegas, with a WNBA semifinal berth going to the victor.
The Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces meet Thursday night at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas for a decisive Game 3 in their WNBA first-round playoff series. The 2026 quarterfinal is scheduled to tip off at 9 p.m. ET, with a place in the semifinals on the line for the winner.
Thursday's winner-take-all game will be televised in the United States on USA Network, with CNBC carrying a live simulcast of the broadcast. Fans looking to stream the matchup can watch through DIRECTV or Fubo.
Las Vegas opened the series in firm control on its home floor, pulling away for a 102-85 victory in Game 1 behind a commanding performance from A'ja Wilson. The Aces' centerpiece finished the opener with 38 points and 16 rebounds to stake Las Vegas to the early series lead.
Indiana answered two days later on its home floor, shaking off a flat showing in the opener. Caitlin Clark lifted the Fever with 27 points and 15 assists, the first 25-point, 15-assist game in WNBA history, and Indiana finished with 99 points to even the series and force a third game in Las Vegas.
The first-round matchup has paired two of the league's premier stars, with Clark and Wilson trading standout performances across the opening two games. Wilson, the presumptive WNBA MVP, anchors the Las Vegas paint under coach Becky Hammon, whose side can close out the series on its home floor after winning the opener there.
Clark will look to produce a similar performance on the road in the final game of the series. Her passing has driven the Indiana offense throughout the matchup: according to ESPN Insights, the Fever have converted 25 of 31 shots that came off Clark's passes across the first two games against Las Vegas.
The Fever will have their key contributors available for the finale. Indiana's update came roughly half an hour before the scheduled tip: Clark was listed as available despite a back issue, and Aliyah Boston was listed as available despite a right lower leg concern, leaving the team with no official injury worries for Game 3.
The series has alternated between the two cities across a five-day span. Las Vegas hosted Game 1 on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 4 p.m. ET, Indiana hosted Game 2 on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 6:30 p.m. ET, and Las Vegas hosts the deciding Game 3 on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 9 p.m. ET.
The winner of Thursday's finale moves into the WNBA semifinals, extending the playoff run of one of the league's top teams. Indiana is attempting to rally after dropping the opener in Las Vegas. The loser's season ends in the opening round of the 2026 playoffs.
