The 1-2 Colts and Commanders meet at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 4. Kickoff is 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network, with streaming options for viewers without cable.
This weekend marks the NFL's return to the United Kingdom, with three games set for London over the next month. The opener brings the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Commanders together at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 4. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. local time, which works out to an early 9:30 a.m. ET start for viewers in the United States, where the game will be televised on NFL Network.
Form-wise, the two clubs are closely matched. Both enter Sunday at 1-2, and both broke through for their first victory of the season in their most recent outing. In practical terms, the winner leaves London with a 2-2 record while the loser drops to 1-3, and Sunday's victor would also claim consecutive victories for the first time this year.
Indianapolis' breakthrough was razor-thin, a 19-17 edging of the Houston Texans in a game decided by two points. The Colts held off a Houston side that has itself found the early weeks of the season difficult, and the narrow margin sent them to England on a winning note.
Washington's first win came as an upset, the Commanders surprising the Seattle Seahawks 33-31 to snap their season-opening losing run. Oddsmakers still favor Indianapolis, however, installing the Colts as 3.5-point favorites for Sunday's meeting at Tottenham.
For cord-cutters, a handful of live TV streaming services carry NFL Network, and prices vary widely. DirecTV includes the channel in its MySports Genre Pack and in all of its Signature Packages, bundles that feature up to 185-plus channels. Each DirecTV plan opens with a five-day free trial, and packages that carry NFL Network are priced from $64.99 a month, with an introductory discount applying once the trial period ends.
Fubo is a second option with a free trial attached, giving new users five days of access before any payment is due. Its Core plan costs $63.99 for the first month, then rises to $88.99 a month for subsequent billing cycles.
YouTube TV also streams NFL Network, making it available in both of the service's live TV plans. Those packages start at $71.99 a month. The service is currently offering a promotional free trial along with a discount that applies to the first two to six months, depending on the package selected.
The remaining two options come without free trials. Sling bundles NFL Network into three of its plans — Select, Blue and Orange + Blue — with monthly pricing that begins at $19.99. The league's in-house service, NFL+, starts at $6.99 a month and likewise offers no trial period.
Global Sportscast's weekend slate also includes another London event on Sunday. The London City Lionesses travel to Tottenham Hotspur at Gaughan Group Stadium for a 9:00 a.m. EDT kickoff, with the match streaming on Paramount+.
