Natalia Silva and Wang Cong fight for the vacant UFC women's flyweight title at Salt Lake City's Delta Center, with the preliminary card already decided.
UFC 332 is being staged Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Coverage in the United States runs on Paramount+ and CBS, with Spanish-language commentary available through Paramount+ Deportes. A vacant women's flyweight championship bout between Natalia Silva and Wang Cong headlines the card.
The title fight is contested at 125 pounds, with Silva listed as the -205 betting favorite and Cong at +170. Silva, from Brazil, owns a 20-5-1 professional record, while Cong stands at 10-1. Because the belt currently has no holder, the winner will leave Salt Lake City as the new champion at 125 pounds.
Silva debuted in the UFC in 2022 and has not lost since, reeling off eight straight wins. Her last three victories have come against former champions Rose Namajunas, Alexa Grasso and Viviane Araújo.
Cong's lone professional defeat came by submission against Gabriella Fernandes in November 2024. She has answered with four consecutive victories since, including a win on the scorecards against Tracy Cortez at July's UFC 329.
The preliminary card has already produced results. Eric Nolan (-225) stopped Court McGee (+185) by technical knockout at 3:26 of the third round after dropping him with an elbow. Ismail Naurdiev (-135) defeated Marvin Vettori (+115) by unanimous decision, with all three judges turning in 29-28 scorecards.
Alexander Hernandez (-270) finished Rafael Dos Anjos (+220) by TKO at 3:12 of round two, even as the crowd inside the arena backed Dos Anjos early. Jacobe Smith (-1300), the heaviest favorite listed on the card, stayed undefeated with a first-round TKO of Bruce Whitehead (+800) at the 1:32 mark.
Johnny Walker (-115) knocked out Mick Parkin (-105) at 3:35 of the opening round in his first appearance at heavyweight. Anthony Wint (-600) needed far less time, stopping Lucas Armand (+450) by TKO just 23 seconds into round one to keep his record unblemished.
Marcus McGhee (-500) earned a TKO against Anthony Romero (+375) at 4:58 of round one, and Damian Pinas (-550) knocked out Andrey Pulyaev (+400) 1:15 into their matchup. Seven of the eight completed preliminary bouts ended inside the distance, with Naurdiev's decision over Vettori the only exception. No result had been posted for Imanol Rodriguez (-140) against Alden Coria (+120) at the time of publication.
Five bouts remain on the main card ahead of the title headliner. Ateba Gautier (-245) meets Roman Kopylov (+200), Roberto Soldić (-225) faces Khaos Williams (+185), King Green (+180) takes on Esteban Ribovics (-220), and Payton Talbott (-700) is paired with Deiveson Figueiredo (+500). Talbott carries the widest favorite's price on the main card, while Figueiredo is the biggest underdog listed. Silva and Cong then close the night with the vacant flyweight belt at stake.
