Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reached a verbal agreement on a contract extension that would keep him at the club until 2030, according to a report by The Guardian.

His current three-year contract, signed in September 2024, runs out at the end of this season. Discussions over a renewal began in May, following Arsenal's title win, but were paused while the summer transfer window was underway.

The new deal reportedly includes a substantial increase on his existing salary of 10 million pounds per year. It would mark the second extension of his time in charge and could stretch his reign past ten years.
