Oklahoma Sooners DT David Stone injured in practice

"When it rains, it pours" isn't quite fitting enough for an Oklahoma Sooners football program that has been flooded with injuries to key personnel since the start of fall camp. And now, they've been dealt arguably the biggest blow. Starting defensive tackle and All-American David Stone was injured at practice on Monday, with what is being reported as a lower-body injury.

George Stoia of SoonerScoop and On3 first reported the news, later confirmed by John Hoover of Sooners on SI. Though the injury and its severity are currently unknown, reports indicate Stone will undergo further testing Tuesday morning. Potentially, it's something Brent Venables will address at his Tuesday morning press conference.
