Five-star 2027 defensive end DJ Jacobs and his younger brother Dawson, a 2028 prospect, are set to visit Tennessee for Saturday's game against No. 1 Texas.
Two highly regarded defensive line prospects from Georgia are scheduled to visit Tennessee on Saturday when the Vols host No. 1 Texas, according to Steve Wiltfong of Rivals. DJ Jacobs, a five-star defensive end in the 2027 class, and Dawson Jacobs, a four-star defensive lineman in the 2028 class, are brothers at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell.
DJ Jacobs is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 player in the 2027 class. He committed to Ohio State on Dec. 29, 2025, and has visited Tennessee for a game once in the last three seasons.
Dawson Jacobs is rated the No. 15 defensive lineman in the 2028 class and the No. 15 player in Georgia by 247Sports. West Virginia was the first school to offer him a scholarship on Oct. 1, 2024, and Tennessee extended an offer during a visit for the 2024 game against Alabama.
Dawson Jacobs also holds offers from a long list of programs, including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, LSU, USC, Notre Dame and Clemson. Tennessee currently has one commitment in its 2028 class, quarterback Kaden Craft.
The brothers are the sons of former Georgia defensive lineman David Jacobs, who played under Tennessee defensive line coach Rodney Garner.
