No. 3 Texas Visits Neyland Stadium for SEC Showdown With Tennessee

Undefeated Texas and Tennessee meet Saturday in Knoxville in the fourth all-time meeting between the programs and the first since the 1969 Cotton Bowl.
Two unbeaten SEC teams meet Saturday when Texas plays its first road game of the season at Tennessee. Both programs enter at 3-0, with the game set for Neyland Stadium, where College GameDay will broadcast on site.
Texas opened the year with a 59-7 rout of Texas State, as Arch Manning threw for 305 yards and four touchdowns. The Longhorns then edged Ohio State 24-23 on a late touchdown run by Hollywood Smothers, before a 30-6 win over UTSA in which Manning completed just half his passes.
Tennessee opened with a 56-9 win over Furman, then won at Georgia Tech 45-24 after trailing 10-7 after one quarter. The Volunteers beat Kennesaw State 42-9 last week. Manning enters the game 59 of 96 passing for 661 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions, while Volunteers freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon has thrown for 552 yards and six scores without an interception.
This is only the fourth meeting between the schools and the first since the 1969 Cotton Bowl, with all three prior matchups played in that bowl game. Texas has won the last two encounters.
DraftKings lists Texas as a 4.5-point favorite, with the total set at 55.5. The line opened at Texas -7. Texas running back Derrek Cooper and Tennessee tight end Ethan Davis are out; several other players on both rosters carry injury designations.
