Season-ending multi-week injuries to Jayden Daniels, Jaxson Dart and Caleb Williams headline a Week 3 waiver wire stocked with emerging quarterbacks, runners and receivers.
Week 2 brought a wave of quarterback injuries that fantasy managers now have to navigate. Washington's Jayden Daniels dislocated his left elbow, the second straight season he has suffered the injury, while the New York Giants lost Jaxson Dart to a knee issue and Chicago's Caleb Williams exited with a hamstring problem. All three are expected to miss multiple weeks, and the fallout extends to the pass-catchers who will now catch passes from backups.
At quarterback, New Orleans rookie Tyler Shough leads the NFL with 662 passing yards through two games and faces a Raiders defense with only two sacks so far. Carolina's Bryce Young has thrown three touchdowns in each of his first two games, improving his completion rate to 63.9 percent in Week 2. Washington's Marcus Mariota, unowned in most leagues, is a streaming option after throwing for 1,695 yards and 10 touchdowns across 11 games in 2025.
At running back, Seattle's Emanuel Wilson handled 21 of the team's 40 carries in Week 2 for 92 yards while Zach Charbonnet recovers from a knee injury. Denver rookie Jonah Coleman led the Broncos with 39 rushing yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville, adding three catches. Alvin Kamara, available in most leagues, saw nine carries and five receptions in his season debut behind Travis Etienne Jr.
Receiver options include Cleveland's Denzel Boston, who has two touchdowns in two games with a 32 percent target share, and Philadelphia's Dontayvion Wicks, who followed a 73-yard, one-score debut with five catches for 74 yards against Tennessee. Baltimore's Rashod Bateman saw a 33 percent target share with Zay Flowers out, the Jets' Adonai Mitchell drew 12 targets in Week 2, and Chargers tight end Oronde Gadsden II is in line for a larger role in Los Angeles.
