Major League Baseball released its Division Series schedule on Thursday, setting a four-game slate for Saturday, Oct. 3. The Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox get the day underway at 1 p.m. ET, and the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers close it out at 8:30 p.m. ET. Two American League series and two National League series make up the round.
In the AL, the White Sox visit the Guardians at 1 p.m. ET, while the New York Yankees travel to Tampa Bay for a 6:30 p.m. ET first pitch against the Rays. Every Division Series is a best-of-five, and the higher seed hosts Games 1, 2 and 5.
On the National League side, the Padres open in Milwaukee at 8:30 p.m. ET, and the Los Angeles Dodgers play a 4 p.m. ET Game 1 at home against an opponent still to be determined. That slot belongs to the winner of the Philadelphia Phillies-Atlanta Braves wild-card series, which concludes with Game 3 on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET at Truist Park in Atlanta.
The nightcap in Milwaukee gives the Padres their first look at Jacob Misiorowski. He limited opposing hitters to a .157 average this season, the lowest mark for any pitcher who worked at least 100 innings since 1990, and his Game 1 start serves as the finale of Saturday's four openers.
Broadcast arrangements are split by league. American League Division Series games appear on TBS, with some simulcast on truTV and streaming available on HBO Max; UniMas carries Saturday's AL Game 1s in Spanish. National League games run on FOX or FS1 and stream on FOX One, with FOX Deportes providing Spanish-language coverage.
The NLDS continues Sunday, Oct. 4, with Game 2s: Padres-Brewers at 4 p.m. ET and the Dodgers' series at 8 p.m. ET, both on FS1. The ALDS plays its Game 2s Monday, Oct. 5, with White Sox-Guardians at 5 p.m. ET and Yankees-Rays at 8 p.m. ET on TBS.
Tuesday, Oct. 6 brings NLDS Game 3s, with the Dodgers on the road at 6 p.m. ET and the Brewers visiting San Diego at 9:30 p.m. ET, both on FS1. Wednesday, Oct. 7 pairs the ALDS Game 3s — Guardians at White Sox at 4 p.m. ET and Rays at Yankees at 8 p.m. ET on TBS — with potential NLDS Game 4s: the Dodgers' matchup at 6 p.m. ET and Brewers-Padres at 10 p.m. ET on FS1.
Thursday, Oct. 8 holds the if-necessary ALDS Game 4s at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. ET, and a lone Game 4 would move to 8 p.m. ET. The NLDS Game 5s, if required, are set for Friday, Oct. 9 — Padres at Brewers at 4:30 p.m. ET and the Dodgers' game at 8 p.m. ET — with a single Game 5 scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
If the ALDS needs a fifth game, the Game 5s are slotted for Saturday, Oct. 10: White Sox at Guardians at 5 p.m. ET and Yankees at Rays at 8 p.m. ET, with a lone Game 5 shifted to 8 p.m. ET. All times are Eastern, and the schedule remains subject to change.
