The Minnesota Lynx clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the WNBA on Tuesday despite losing to the Indiana Fever. The Golden State Valkyries' loss to the Portland Fire sealed the top spot for Minnesota.
The eight playoff teams are set, but seeding remains unresolved with two days left in the regular season. The top four seeds will hold home-court advantage in the first round, and the Lynx will have home-court throughout the playoffs as the No. 1 seed.
If the season ended now, the first-round matchups would be Minnesota against the New York Liberty, Golden State against the Dallas Wings, Las Vegas against the Washington Mystics, and Atlanta against the Fever.
Wednesday's slate features the Dream hosting the Liberty at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network and the Wings facing the Seattle Storm at 10 p.m. ET, also on USA Network. Atlanta can lock up the No. 4 seed with a win, while a Liberty loss would drop New York to the No. 8 seed.
Thursday brings five games, including Indiana against Minnesota at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network. The 2026 WNBA playoffs begin Sunday, Sept. 27, with four first-round games.
