England striker Harry Kane has repeated his interest in pursuing a kicking career in the NFL once his soccer career winds down.
Speaking to reporters, via TheAthletic.com, Kane said golf is more of a dream while American football is a legitimate option. "That is something I will try and look at a bit more seriously," Kane said, adding that any move depends on how the next five or six years of his career unfold.
Kane, 33, even raised the possibility of playing both sports at once if he ended up in MLS, noting the schedules could line up to make it work.
He believes his experience taking penalty kicks would transfer to pressure-filled field goal attempts, though he acknowledged elite sports look easier on television than they are in practice. If he pursued it, he said he would dedicate six months to a year of practice first.
