Fantasy TE Rankings for Week 4: McBride First, Pitts 18th Ahead of Saints Trip

Trey McBride tops the Week 4 fantasy football tight end rankings against the Giants, with Brock Bowers and George Kittle next and Harold Fannin Jr. up to No. 11.

Trey McBride holds the No. 1 spot in the Week 4 fantasy football tight end rankings heading into Arizona's road game against the New York Giants. Brock Bowers of the Raiders is second ahead of Kansas City's visit, and San Francisco's George Kittle is third in a home matchup with Denver.

Tyler Warren (Colts, at Washington) and Sam LaPorta (Lions, at Carolina) hold the next two positions. They are followed by Dalton Kincaid (Bills, vs. New England), Travis Kelce (Chiefs, at Las Vegas), Juwan Johnson (Saints, vs. Atlanta), Colston Loveland (Bears, vs. the Jets) and Tucker Kraft (Packers, at Tampa Bay).

Harold Fannin Jr. is 11th for Cleveland's home game against Pittsburgh, one spot ahead of Isaiah Likely (Giants, vs. Arizona). Dalton Schultz (Texans, vs. Dallas), Mark Andrews (Ravens, vs. Tennessee), Kenyon Sadiq (Jets, at Chicago), Jake Ferguson (Cowboys, at Houston), Darren Waller (Panthers, vs. Detroit), Kyle Pitts Sr. (Falcons, at New Orleans) and Pat Freiermuth (Steelers, at Cleveland) fill spots 13 through 19, with Hunter Henry (Patriots) 20th at Buffalo.

Cleveland has won consecutive games yet has scored only 54 points over its first three, and quarterback Deshaun Watson grades outside the top 20 at his position in PFN's Impact metric, which caps the ceiling of the entire passing game. Fannin's two touchdowns against the Panthers were also the first red-zone touches he had seen all season, and teammates KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston continue to draw regular opportunities in the offense.

His history with Pittsburgh offers some encouragement: he caught a 28-yard touchdown in the second meeting between the teams last season after drawing 10 targets in the first. At TE11, Fannin sits within the TE1 range for standard 12-team formats, though the rankings caution against treating one spike week as evidence that Cleveland's broader offensive problems have disappeared.

Pitts, ranked 18th, faces a volume question tied to quarterback Michael Penix. Penix grew sharper after the opening quarter of last week's game in Green Bay, a development the analysis views as not necessarily helpful for Pitts's weekly target count. Across 13 games with Penix at quarterback, Pitts has posted double-digit PPR points on multiple occasions but has finished below eight points nine times.

Drake London's target share above 35 percent makes it harder for Pitts to serve as a featured option. On the encouraging side, Atlanta's tight end position reached the end zone against Green Bay, and Pitts led the Falcons with six catches on nine targets in a Week 18 meeting with the Saints last season, though Kirk Cousins played quarterback in that game. The rankings describe the New Orleans matchup as playable and place Pitts ahead of most options typically found on waivers, while noting that the target lean toward London has been a season-long pattern rather than a one-week wrinkle.
