In the loss to North Dakota State, quarterback Liam Szarka completed five of 10 pass attempts for 103 yards with one interception. Another Air Force signal-caller went three of four through the air for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Szarka also led the Falcons on the ground in that game, carrying 21 times for 88 yards and a touchdown, an average of 4.2 yards per attempt. Matt Long was the team's top receiver with two catches for 55 yards and a score.
Nevada comes in at 1-2 on the season. The Wolf Pack opened with a 49-14 win over Western Kentucky before dropping consecutive games, 20-7 to Montana State and 27-20 to Middle Tennessee.
Quarterback Carter Jones had a difficult outing in the Middle Tennessee loss, completing 15 of 25 passes for 185 yards with one interception and no touchdowns. He added 31 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.
Running back Dominic Kelley chipped in 45 yards and a rushing touchdown on 13 attempts in that game for the Wolf Pack.
A win would move Air Force above .500, while Nevada is looking to pull back to an even record. The outcome will be decided Saturday night on FOX Sports 1, with streaming available on Fubo.
