Missouri begins its Southeastern Conference schedule Saturday with a road game against Mississippi State at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville. The matchup features two undefeated teams, with Missouri ranked No. 21/19 and Mississippi State receiving votes and ranked No. 24 in one poll.
The Tigers enter the game at 3-0 after defeating Troy this past Saturday, keeping them unbeaten through three game weeks for the fourth consecutive season. Missouri's most notable win so far came on Sept. 11 at Kansas, a 38-21 victory that stands as the team's only Power-conference game of the 2026 campaign to date.
Mississippi State also arrives at 3-0 overall and 1-0 in SEC play. The Bulldogs opened conference action with a road win over South Carolina last Saturday. Their season began with a home victory over Louisiana-Monroe, followed by a road win at Minnesota.
