Knicks shift regional streaming to DAZN for 2026-27 season

Knicks games not taken by exclusive national broadcasts will stream on DAZN, the new direct-to-consumer home for MSG networks, in 2026-27.

The New York Knicks head into the 2026-27 season as reigning NBA champions, and their fans in the New York market have a new way to follow the title defense. Every Knicks game that is not claimed by an exclusive national broadcast will stream regionally on DAZN, which becomes the direct-to-consumer outlet for the MSG networks.

DAZN, pronounced "da-zone," is a sports streaming service offering live and on-demand events without a traditional cable subscription, and it is available in more than 200 countries and territories. The platform first made its name in combat sports, particularly boxing, MMA and pay-per-view fight nights. In 2026 it picked up regional streaming rights to the games of several NBA teams, among them the Knicks, Nets, Pacers, Timberwolves, Spurs, Cavs, Magic and Wizards.

Alongside live and on-demand game coverage, DAZN will offer Knicks highlights packages, studio shows, original series and behind-the-scenes content. Subscribers can watch through the DAZN app on smart TVs, phones, tablets, computers and other connected devices, whether at home or on the go.

In the New York market, the MSG+ Season Pass costs $119 per year and is priced below the monthly alternative. It provides every locally produced preseason and regular-season game, live and on demand, for the Knicks, Rangers, Devils, Islanders and Sabres, plus pregame, halftime and postgame shows and other programming. The pass allows streaming on up to three devices in three locations, downloads for viewing away from a connection, and access to other DAZN content such as international soccer and boxing at no extra cost.

The MSG+ monthly plan starts at $19.99 for the first month and moves to $29.99 per month thereafter. It matches the season pass on coverage and perks, with the same game inventory, studio programming, three-device limit, downloads and wider DAZN library.

Viewers interested in a single contest can purchase a Game Pass at $9.99. It covers one Knicks, Rangers, Devils, Islanders or Sabres game, with the surrounding pregame and postgame coverage included.

The Gotham Bundle pairs MSG+ with YES Network programming. The annual version runs $299.99 per year, a rate DAZN says is more than 25% cheaper per month than paying monthly, while the monthly option costs $34.99. Both tiers add every locally produced preseason and regular-season Nets and Yankees game to the MSG+ lineup, and carry the same studio shows, streaming on up to three devices in three locations, download support and broader DAZN content.

To subscribe, fans can visit the DAZN website or open the app on their chosen device, select their location if asked because content and prices vary by country, and pick a plan. Creating an account requires a name, email address and password, followed by payment details that may include a credit card, debit card, PayPal or a gift code depending on location and how the signup is completed. After confirming the plan, price and billing terms, the account goes active and streaming of live events, replays, original shows and on-demand programming can begin.
