Tennessee Titans right tackle JC Latham has taken a clear step forward in the 2026 season. According to Pro Football Focus, Latham ranks among the highest in the league in both 'island rate' and pass block win rate, meaning he is consistently holding up in pass protection without assistance from tight ends or running backs.
The seventh overall pick has not been flawless. In the Titans' recent game, Latham was beaten on a first-and-goal snap from the 8-yard line late in a 17-17 tie, resulting in a sack of quarterback Cam Ward. Former Titans scout Blake Beddingfield noted at PaulKuharsky.com that the design of that play left Latham with no realistic blocking options.
