Kylian Mbappé has addressed ongoing speculation linking his France teammate Michael Olise with a transfer to Real Madrid. Speaking to Sport Bild during the first international break of the 2026/27 season, the Madrid forward said he was aware of the rumors but would not encourage Olise to push for an exit from Bayern Munich.
"I think it would be disrespectful to advise a player to leave. That would be unfair to Bayern," Mbappé said, according to @iMiaSanMia. He added that Bayern are "a great club where Michael can achieve a lot" and noted that he dealt with constant rumors himself during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappé also praised his international teammate's quality, saying every club in the world would love to have Olise, whom he described as an outstanding player.
Olise remains under contract with Bayern until 2029, which left the club under no pressure during the summer of 2026. Madrid had been heavily linked with a move for the winger, along with other clubs, but no deal materialized, even after the Spanish side signed winger Yan Diomande. The connection between Mbappé and Olise, built with France and strengthened at the 2026 World Cup, has fueled talk of a club-level reunion, though Bayern intend to fight to keep him.
