Week 3 brought losses, injuries and close calls for Montana and the Dakotas' FCS programs as the MonDak Football Show previews Week 4.
Week 3 was a difficult stretch for the MonDak region's college football programs. Montana State needed a comeback to get past Central Connecticut, while South Dakota State earned a win over Youngstown State but lost its starting quarterback, an NFL Draft prospect, to injury.
North Dakota struggled to keep pace with Nebraska, and Montana fell to Oregon State. South Dakota provided the region's lone bright spot, though even that came in a narrow moral-victory sense after pushing Boise State.
The MonDak Football Show, hosted by FCS reporter Sam Herder and radio host Brad Jones, will preview Week 4 as these programs move into conference play. The show covers Football Championship Subdivision schools in Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota.
