Patriots Set 2026 Roster: Maye Leads Quarterback Room as Season Begins

New England's 53-man roster, practice squad and reserve lists are set for the 2026 campaign, with more moves likely on the way.

The New England Patriots have their roster in place for the 2026 NFL regular season, led by quarterback Drake Maye. He is backed up by Tommy DeVito and Behren Morton in a three-man quarterback room.

The offense features Rhamondre Stevenson and rookie TreVeyon Henderson at running back, with rookie wide receiver Efton Chism III joining Romeo Doubs, DeMario Douglas, Mack Hollins and Kyle Williams in the passing game. Hunter Henry headlines the tight ends, while first-round tackle Will Campbell protects the blind side.

On defense, the interior line is anchored by Milton Williams and Christian Barmore, with Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis III leading the cornerback group. Kevin Byard starts at safety alongside Craig Woodson and Jaylen Reed. Dre'Mont Jones highlights the edge rotation.

New England also carries a 17-man practice squad, including running back Lan Larison and cornerback Kindle Vildor. Eight players sit on injured reserve, among them guard Mike Onwenu and wide receiver A.J. Brown, while edge rusher Harold Landry remains on the physically unable to perform list.

Roster churn is expected throughout the fall. The Patriots made 102 transactions between their opener and finale last season on the way to a conference title, so further changes to this group are likely.
