Rams list Puka Nacua as TBD for Sunday night matchup in Denver

Sean McVay says the wide receiver's availability against the Broncos remains undecided after a hip issue kept him out Monday night.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay told reporters that wide receiver Puka Nacua's status for Sunday Night Football against the Denver Broncos has not been decided, according to Nate Atkins of The Athletic. Nacua is dealing with a hip injury that McVay has described as groin soreness.

The wide receiver appeared on the injury report last week and was ultimately ruled out of Monday night's game against the New York Giants. The Rams won that game comfortably anyway, with veteran receiver Davante Adams posting eight catches for 195 yards and two touchdowns.

Nacua's availability is complicated by a short week and a road trip to Denver. Atkins noted the Rams are being cautious with the soft-tissue injury, an approach that follows their experience with Myles Garrett in Melbourne.

The Broncos and Rams both enter the game at 1-1. If Nacua cannot play, Denver's secondary would still have to contend with Adams, a familiar opponent from his Raiders days, including past matchups against cornerback Pat Surtain II. Nacua's status should become clearer as the week progresses.
