Sarasota Christian Sweeps Palmetto; Lakewood Ranch Edges Saint Stephen's in Golf

Sarasota Christian posted a 3-0 volleyball win over Palmetto during the week of Sept. 21-26, taking the match 25-22, 25-19, 25-19. Ryan Donlin led the attack with 11 kills, and Reagan Miller finished with 21 digs.
Hallee Volkert added 15 assists for Sarasota Christian, while Selah Spenn recorded six blocks in the sweep.
On the golf course, Lakewood Ranch defeated Saint Stephen's 278-283. Will Thomas and Andi Dai each shot 68 to lead their respective teams.
Rounding out Lakewood Ranch's scoring were Donovan Plakyda and Owen Gellatly at 69, Trey Susa at 72, Alexander Makarewicz at 75 and Declan Young at 78. Saint Stephen's counters included Chase Nicks at 69, Eddie Gu at 72, Gavin Johnson and Josiah Joseph at 74, and Allen Huang at 80.
