White Sox Visit Guardians to Open ALDS Saturday on TBS and truTV

Cleveland, the No. 2 seed, hosts Chicago in Game 1 of the ALDS on Saturday, Oct. 3, with every game of the series airing on TBS and truTV.
The Cleveland Guardians begin their 2026 postseason at home Saturday, hosting the Chicago White Sox in Game 1 of the American League Division Series at Progressive Field. Cleveland finished the regular season at 85-77 and enters the matchup as the No. 2 seed.
Chicago earned its spot with a two-game sweep of the Houston Astros in the Wild Card round. The White Sox held Houston to three runs in each game, and the result gave the franchise its first playoff series win since 2005.
Game 1 is set for Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. ET in Cleveland, with national coverage on TBS and truTV. Those two networks will carry the entire series.
Cleveland also hosts Game 2, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 5, at 5 p.m. ET. The series then shifts to Chicago for Game 3 on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 4 p.m. ET and Game 4 on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m. ET. A Game 5 would be played in Cleveland on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 5 p.m. ET, with Games 4 and 5 taking place only if necessary.
Beyond the division series, the American League Championship Series is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 12, on TBS and truTV. The National League Championship Series opens a day earlier, Sunday, Oct. 11, on FOX and FS1. First-pitch times for the championship series have not been released.
For viewers without cable, TBS and truTV are both available through the live TV streaming service Sling. Select MLB postseason games this month are being spread across FOX, FS1, TBS and truTV, and Sling subscribers can watch those channels live.
