Oklahoma State counters with quarterback Drew Mestemaker, who has been well protected lately — his offensive line has surrendered just one sack over the past two weeks. A West Virginia secondary permitting 246.7 passing yards per game, 14th among the 16 Big 12 teams, could give him room to operate.

Analysts projected a high-scoring affair, with one pick from The Oklahoman forecasting a 35-30 Oklahoma State win behind a third straight 300-yard passing day from Mestemaker.
