Oklahoma Visits Georgia in Week 4 SEC Showdown on ESPN

The 2-1 Sooners travel to Sanford Stadium to face the unbeaten Bulldogs in a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff carried by ESPN.
The Oklahoma Sooners meet the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, Sept. 26, in a Week 4 matchup of the 2026 college football season. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia.
ESPN will carry the broadcast, with Bob Wischusen handling play-by-play and Louis Riddick serving as analyst. Streaming is available through Fubo.
Oklahoma enters the game at 2-1. The Sooners opened the season with a 51-0 rout of UTEP, then fell to Michigan 17-10 on Sept. 12. Last week they edged New Mexico 14-6 at home in Norman.
Georgia is 3-0 overall and 1-0 in SEC play. The Bulldogs opened with a 63-3 demolition of Tennessee State, followed by a 70-20 win over Western Kentucky and a 45-17 road victory against Arkansas in their conference opener. Quarterback Gunner Stockton, now in his second year as the starter, completed just 13 passes in the win over the Razorbacks.
The betting market, per BetMGM as of Friday, Sept. 25, lists Georgia as a 13.5-point favorite with an over/under of 43.5. The moneyline has Georgia at -550 and Oklahoma at +425. One Oklahoman prediction calls for Georgia to win 27-17.
Georgia's defense has been dominant, with 28 of the 40 points it has surrendered coming in fourth-quarter play against backups. Safety KJ Bolden, a second-team All-SEC selection by the league's coaches last season, has seven tackles this year after recording 76 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and five pass breakups in 2025. Oklahoma counters with a strong defense of its own, led by quarterback John Mateer and coach Brent Venables.
After Saturday, Oklahoma has an open date before facing Texas in Dallas on Oct. 10 at 2:30 p.m. on ABC or ESPN. The Sooners then host Kentucky on Oct. 17 and travel to Mississippi State on Oct. 24. Later games include home dates with South Carolina, Mississippi and Texas A&M, plus trips to Florida and Missouri, closing the season in Columbia on Nov. 28.
Georgia hosts Vanderbilt on Oct. 3 before traveling to Alabama on Oct. 10 and hosting Auburn on Oct. 17. A 2:30 p.m. date with Florida on Oct. 31 airs on ABC, followed by games against Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina and a season-ending matchup with Georgia Tech on Nov. 28.
Saturday's slate also includes Texas at Tennessee and Ole Miss at Florida on ABC, South Carolina at Alabama on ESPN at 6 p.m. CT, and Texas A&M at LSU on ABC at 6:30 p.m. CT.
