Lyon Rout Le Havre 8-1 as Paralluelo Opens Account; Kanjinga Saves PSG

Salma Paralluelo scored her first Lyon goal in an 8-1 win at Le Havre, while Merveille Kanjinga's stoppage-time strike kept 10-woman PSG perfect in Arkema Première Ligue week 3.

OL Lyonnes stayed in dominant form in week 3 of the Arkema Première Ligue, crushing Le Havre 8-1 at Stade Océane. Eden Le Guilly's early own goal and an Ada Hegerberg double from the penalty spot put Lyon in control, with further goals from Melchie Dumornay, Inès Benyahia, Jule Brand and a second Le Havre own goal. Thaïs Gallais pulled one back for the hosts before Salma Paralluelo closed the scoring with a late finish, her first goal since joining Lyon.

Paris Saint-Germain needed a stoppage-time strike from Merveille Kanjinga to beat their opponents 1-0 at the Campus and stay perfect on the season. PSG played much of the second half with 10 after 17-year-old Marie Lafontaine was sent off for an elbow on Constance Brackmann. Romée Leuchter, last season's top scorer in the league, remained without a goal this campaign.

Marseille dropped their first points with a 0-0 draw against Montpellier despite 15 attempts and 67 percent of possession. Paris FC bounced back from their loss to Lyon with a 2-0 win at Strasbourg, where Mariam Toloba scored one and created the other, finished by Maeline Mendy.

Lens staged a dramatic late comeback against Toulouse, erasing a two-goal deficit inside the final minutes through Lea Notel's half-volley and Morgane Duporge's header, both from Louann Archier long balls, to draw 2-2. Toulouse's goals had come from Anna Conesa, who set up Annalise Rasmussen and scored herself. Fleury earned a 2-0 win at Saint-Malo through Sanaâ Mssoudy and a late Emelyne Laurent penalty.

The league now pauses, with Lyon, PSG and Paris FC beginning their UWCL league phase campaigns in midweek, while the remaining sides turn to the league cup next weekend.
