Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers is set to return to practice Wednesday as the team evaluates his availability for Sunday's matchup with New Orleans.
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said tight end Brock Bowers will take part in Wednesday's practice, and the team will assess his status on a daily basis leading into Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.
Bowers has not appeared in a game this season while recovering from a knee procedure performed during the week of the season opener. He went through a workout before last Sunday's win over the Chargers, and Kubiak indicated afterward that the tight end was nearing a return to game action.
The Raiders' first injury report of the week is expected later Wednesday.
Bowers caught 112 passes for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie, then added 64 receptions for 680 yards and seven scores in 12 games last season.
